Michellinda Audis began private voice study at the age of 11. She discovered a love of opera in Mondavio, Italy while participating in the Music in the Marche opera workshop in 2012, and went on to earn both a Bachelors and Masters of Music from Northern Arizona University. After teaching voice at Yavapai College in Prescott, AZ for two years, she began her doctoral studies at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Ms. Audis has had the privilege to perform roles such as Dorabella (Cosí fan tutte), Marcellina (Le nozze di Figaro), Hanna Glawari (The Merry Widow), Zita (Gianni Schicchi), and coming in Spring 2021, Mère Marie (Dialogues of the Carmelites). She has taught private voice since 2016, with various levels of beginner and college level students of all ages. Areas which are of particular interest to her are diction classes, which she has helped teach in French, German, English and Italian, and also opera workshops, acting for singers, and vocal pedagogy.
