Puccini’s opera buffa-just a masterpiece of music and comedy. Under the direction of Dr. Gregory Brookes, this show came alive. Zita is such a fun character to play, with her layers of traditionalism, aristocracy, and disdain. The real joy of this opera, though, is in the flow between the entire ensemble of characters, and the group dynamics that are so well represented.
